Hey guys, what's going on? It's Mike. Sorry this episode is so late. It has been a busy week for me. We're going to work at a TV station a super bowl weekend. Managed we for we forgot to put an episode up. So I want to let you guys know what's going to be going on with the future of the show here into two thousand and twenty. No, it's not going away. It's still going to be going we've got new guest lined up here for the first few shows. Is going to be a lot of fun. As you guys know from the last episode, I got a brand new toy. I got a roadcast or pro mixing board specifically for this show and I'm going to have a lot of fun with this thing. I think it's going to be a great way to make the show even better. We're planning on doing incorporating a video element of sorts into this show for some clips to put online, and also want to let you know what's going to go on with all the other other shows you do on the feed now, as I mentioned it in an earlier episode with Travis Diffenderfer, so Mike's mind is going to be going away. I'm just I don't...

...feel comfortable doing that show anymore and I kind of just want to move past it and kind of keep the show branded on certain kinds of content. Also, Mike's Mike talks movies, is going to be moving to a video platform now. Those video clips are going to be done. They're going a little five to seven minute movie reviews and they're going to go up on both the Basement Lounge facebook page and the Basement Lounge Youtube channel, which is currently up and only has the one video on it, which is the video of me unboxing the roadcaster pro. So that's up there right now. So that's where Mike talks movies is going to live. The monthly movie melt down with me and Travis is going to continue to exist where it does on the podcast, on the podcast channel once a month, and then the video portion of the basement lounge is going to be me setting up brand new cameras here in the studio and getting actual, like little video clips of me having the interviews here in the studio. I'm getting the studio cleaned up and kind of remodel a little bit and it's going to be a little bit more intimate and have a...

...lot more fun. Also the nature of the show, the shows themselves are going to change in that it's going to be a lot less question and answer interview and a lot more just conversation. I'm going to be bringing in guests talk about specific topics and we're going to converse about those topics kind of like you would do with your friends at a bar. You Go, you grab a table, something comes up in conversation and you talk about the conversation is still going to be very free flow, very organic. It's just we're going to be coming in with an idea of what we're going to be talking about ahead of time and we're going to go from there and think it's going to be a lot of fun. It's gonna be a great new way to approach the show and really make it feel like a much more intimate conversation style of show and I'm really looking forward to doing that. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. So make sure you guys are following the show on social media. That's at Basement Lounge pod on Instagram, at tbl underscore pod on twitter, follow the show on Facebook, facebookcom backslash, Basement Lounge pod and, of course, go to our website, which is basement lounge...

...podcom, get more information there, and then, once we get things up and running, I'm going to I'm in the process of revamping the Patreon all together. Right now. It's still going to stage the one dollar tier, but you guys are going to get acts to a lot more cool stuff from there as well, and I'm looking forward to this. And then I'm also in the process of planning a basement lounge live show and, as you guys know, I'm also doing a new show with Sinna skape media called mixtape radio, and we're going to see some crossover with that as well. It's going to be a lot of fun. And then you guys are really going to enjoy what we're doing here in two thousand and twenty. So our first show back will be at the end of this week. That will be a Friday, February seventh, I believe, is the day. Am I wrong? Am I completely wrong? February, February seventh? Yeah, Friday February seventh is when we're going to have our first show back. Our guests is going to be? It's going to be Don Owens, Aka Don Mega, from Red Dragon Radio and am I on the air podcast and we're going to have a lot of fun with him talking about our Oscar predictions and just seeing where...

...things go. We've also got Savannah web coming back to the show. You guys remember her from Mike the Mike talks funny days. We're going to have dusty harvey on again at one point. We got a lot of cool guests coming up, guys, so make sure you stick around and we'll see you guys here in a few days with the brand new full first episode of the New Year for the Basement Lounge.
