"We Should've Stayed Closed" with Aimee James - The Basement Lounge: EP #47

Local musician & piano teacher Aimee James is back with us! She first came on the show a year ago for our second episode, and now we're checking in to see what's changed, what's stayed the same, and what she's working on for the future! Aimee & I want to know why it seems some people just can't handle common decency and safety practices. And also, remember when we thought flip phones were the coolest thing ever?

You can check out Aimee's website to sign up for her virtual piano lessons at the following link:

It it's it's crazy, but, speaking of the boyfriend, you know wewantd to catch up and see how 'cause You'e you've had a lot in the last year.Things have changed so much since the last we spoke to you. I know I amgraduating from Miami in three weeks: Fere just doll triding, ten years later,'cause it was you you whad just started back last year right alast year and I had to go back andfinish the music horses at Miami, and but I will be all done in the nextthree weeks and I will get that supcomer and I'm so excited. Well, congratulations! First of all, 'cause going back to school when you've beenaway, not easy, yeah, I'm thirty two, and I have to tell you when I was oncampus before Corono virus. I was just like I was a fish out of water, dad no,how to handle myself, but I had some really amazing professors who were likehey. This is amy she's Jus a little bit older than you go and like stand up andintroduce yourself, and I was like Oho so, but I had some professors that madeit a lot easier on the. As far as like interactions in class and just great,it was definitely worthwhile experience. So I canjusma s like Hi Mabe, I own ahouse and a car. I have a job, I'm actually a little head of your guys,I'm just yeah, and I I catch like I kept treaking outthat they would realize that I was like ten years older and everybody was sonice ther like no. You looked like one of us. I was like. Oh my God, don'tlike I was trying so hard. I had like thelegging and, like I was trying so hard to look like Iami Gir go and go andfull a call. It Hansolo season, 'cause the girls always wear the blackleggings, the boots and and the puffy vests. And it's like okay, it's everyevery fall is star. Wars cost place, sesin an college campuses, it seems Maynot, be glitter. I would expectnothing less from you 'cause, because when it comes to any outfit, no matterwhether you are teaching a piano lesson or or justshitzing around for the day like it's, Sparklin and and and flashy,I remember when I came over to your house for the last time you were on,you were like okay, I'm glad itcould be just audio cause. I look like a SlabBat. I Sho pen, you're, like this beautiful black dress and your hair andMakos done, and I'm like okay cool makes me feel great. No I've been that way since high school, Iwas bullied quite a bit as a kid about the clothes that I wores. So I realizein high school lie, if you just always like dress how you want and dress likewhat makes you feel good, like you're,...

...going to feel God, no matter whatanybody wants to say about you, so that's Kindof! Why I'm always dressedup you are I I was. I was pulling pulling pictures. I was making t emaking the promographic for the show and it Ma a gay photoshop a really hardtime. 'cause. All the tresses were so sparkly that it couldn't tell. Icouldn't follow the borders theand, you did such a nice job on a I woke up tothat at like five in the morning. This morning I was like. Oh that's awesome,so yeah insam hit me pretty hard last night, umbut, so you're, so you're finishingup at Miami and now Y we we mentioned, we mentioned boyfriend and his daughternow was this the same fella you were. You were seeing a year ago, so you guysare still together. tilltogether it'll be two years in February, which O soI'm trying to do the math, I'm like, I think it's like a year and a half atthis point, but either way it's two years in February, so that's fun, yeah,it's it's been fun and, like it's nice having someone who, like asuperbusiness savvy like helping me with like a lot of the things I've beendoing and he's just great like he treats me really well and good. I LoveIm, there's ACO because if he didn't we'd have to we'd have to have him onthe show and and like hey. So got some things we need to discuss. Yw likethose old radio. Those old radio shows where, like the lady would call in andand like complain about her boyfriend sheating on hers, like they'd, call himat work and and prank the crap out of Hem Ohi NFROM. Now, Oh boy! Well, that's that's great. Youguys you're still doing good and and Getin a good relationship with withwith the little one I'm assuming you cant tell yea. I have been doing somany crofts with her, like my parents, were big on like doing crafts and allthese fun things l Ke weeking, so we've made like just in the last week. I madeour little concrete hand like I made her. Do A had a an and we've baked cubcakes and made Suncatcheres, and I taught her how to beat necklaces and make cotholders and soat's a slun catcher yeah. We make these suncatchers you like paint them, andthen you hang them up in her room and it's sucecl eorthey l e cause iow whata dream catcher is yeah. It's a Suncatcher said like a stained glasstype Oka, Oh cool, yeah, they're super cue and she's got 'em all over her roomnow, so that's great! Well, that's that's really good! You know I I comefrom A. I come from a blended family of my own, so o it's it's always great. When you can have that that kind of relationship build and and she's'causeshe's. How old I mean she's five he's five, so so she's young enough, you can.You can start now yeah. I told me today that Iwas the nicest person in the whole world and she almust made me cry soshe's so sweet like she really looks up to me d. It like makes me super happybecause I you know I don't have children so wasn't like was being a momEr, something like on your radar, I'm absolutely otherwise, but withpolysistiovarian syndrome and the health issues that I suffer with. Idressed iwould rather look out for a future human and not procreate. I can't argue with that. I mean I justI just don't want to have kids so they're great when there's someoneelses o absolutely when I can, when I can take them back ind sa I'm done withit all right. Thank you, Goodo Tisgain, next month, it's fine Um! So and then you piano teachingmusic teaching. So with with the the Shenanigans of twenty twenty goingon right now and and the world being what it is on. A complete paradimeshift, how's how's that been going. I I...

...can't imagine it's been easy. It hasnot been easy. However, I am launching m a new Business Avenue, Um kind of Col, the virtual lessons. I'vebeen teaching virtual lessons all summer to my students that I alreadyhad and um they're doing so well with it that I was just like. I need to dosomething more with this, and I started like listing the benefits of likeonline lessons compared to like what I did, which was drive every week forthirteen years across town like we did the Oo Oday and my parents were in thecar for about a thousand hours, Um Thoghage, six and age. Eighteen egotmelike piano lessons, so imagine like not having to drive, you don't have to drive and you're safe, like no mass required like. Can you still get the one on one instructionand it's ust it's working out really well, and I m I'm going to start likemarketing this and get myself out there, because I think it's a great thingright now for people that are maybe working from home and like we can't doall the things that we want to do. So why not learn something like piano orpick up a new instrument, so we've been seeing that a lot is peoplehave been finally delving into hobbies or new things that they'vealways wanted to try always been putting off 'cause. He didn't. Have thetime didn't want to take the time, and now it's like what the hell else do youhave to do. I mean ck up Atey Ien you're, the third person. I know it'sdone that so many people as thinking of Bucalales Yeah. I I love playing my littleeagelal. I don't get to do it as much, but I've picked up like painting andknitting and I've then like just going hog wild on Arti stop well. I've gotthree base guitars sitting over against the wall. I haven't touched and feellikes. I feel like they're. Judging me violently GNG Yeahotheyr base cars; no,they can really hear them anyway. It's fie, eading yeah. I've seen a lot of people likebaking: Bread learning how to bag bread, thefir m amy little brother makes pread all the time anyway, but like HEU startedmaking prezzles, which were just the best um I I start well yeah I' I'll wae up in themorning, Ilwas Beinpretcels, I I I made a brisket for the first time thatI I've seen people I've, seen a lot of people getting into doing thispodcasting and outubing and streaming and stuff 'cause howelses you going to do m, not get sick. Yeahyou know, you'll,wear a mask, Um and y. You stayn six feet apart from each other. It's notthat freaking hard I've been I've been avoiding people at all cost my entirelife, and I can tell Yo. I turned out just fine, so you're so funny, Yeahgo ahead, O God.No, I don't get the problems with the masks, but I just you know I. I would always wear a mass just toprotect someone else, but that's just me so it's it's! I S, aw. I saw a greatmetaphor fort in the day, which is you know how in the wintertime, when you goout and you breathe out in that cloud, CAE, that's what's going out now, youjust can't see it and, and you imagine how far that travels and how much ofthat comes out. You know we all love around Christ's time going like look,I'm a dragon, but you now it's like yeah! Well, now you're adragon that breezhes plague. So S, that's true! No, and it is a plague andpeople just we've been overdue for one for a while. So I feel bad. I I used tolove quoting an episode of the office where, where dwigt is like stuck in aline and he's like there's far too many people, we need a new plague and I usedto joke about that. And then it happened, and I was like Shit, damn it,okay by bad... of my favorite lines from theoffice too, and it came through. I I was inCleveland for for a big concert like the week that all hell broke loose inOhio and I was like Oh okay, at least I ot. At least I got to go. Do that but yeah I I was at SOFOR Father's Day.I went to. I got off work at midnight and went to Bill's. Doughnuts 'causewas something we always do for father's Day. We go y. We have there's a treededicated to my dad over in m by the phrase, and we go have breakfast by thetree. So I'm in I'm in line and the way bill's donuts as set up right now, islike you go in one way and go out the other way. They have six foot markersand UM. There were these two guys that werejust like: they didn't care. How close to me theystood and like no matter how much I seemed to like move away from them. They just kept moving with me 'cause. They thought the line was moving at onepoint: I'm inside this little double door, section, that's only like fourfeet by four feet and they come in there with me and I'm like I'm wearing a mass like yo'll, not takethe hint right now like stay away from me. Please I don't getit. I just I was at the paint section at home, depot and Someguy was coughing and he was walking into like the littleprotected area where the paint people were like. You know, mixing up thepaint and he's like o. You guys have this color and like I'm like what areyou doing right now and thesepe? These women are like you know, but I just Idon't understand the basic disregard for other human lives. Like I just kind of sound like a Hassholewhen you're like you got Sur coat at as whole oun that way like. Oh, it's just theelderly and, like you know it's just the weakend peopleof our society and Mebi. I have an antivax trend. I think I told you thistoo. I just don't y K. Let covet run rampant, but don't vaccinate yourchildren we're not talking about. Like you know, lkecrowing up, like my my grandparentsand my dad were very much of the generation of like oh no he's going toput the penny in the white socket. No, no wait hang on so you're not going to do that again.Now. Are you but like? Even now? It's like I, I remember people when thisfirst started like Oh, it's only got a four percent wore taletrate like yeah, but four percent of six billion peoples, a lot of people, people it to lot ofpeople astronotical and the way it's affecting like thirty year olds isscary as well, like my boyfriend went to the doctor today to like see abouthis leg. He's got a little leg, injry and Um. The doctor's like yeah these thirtyyear olds, are having strokes and blood clocks and, like my parents, had it solike it's just and I know the seriousness of it like I watche themstruggle with fevers for five weeks, five or six weeks hundred and onedegree fevers nonstop and like the skin on their lips, filled off likeeverything it was crazy, so weird virus. The test alone is so um invasive rajust. Just let's take thisfootlong ce tip and we're going to poke your brain with it. No I'm good, MS, no I'm just gonna stand in mybasement and where my mask, when I'Mfortunat ot like I still get to goto work and and my my job has been very thorough, with like separation and notbringing people back if they don't need to, because most people who are workingfrom home right now are like salespeople. They can work fom home Um,only only ones of US work. An the new station, we're Oly n one of US going inof the people who have to be there so that, like things, will go over the airthere's only so much. We can do from home, but they've got to split up likeI'm, seeing so many other places who...

...companies who ere just they just openedup as soon as they could and a lot of them are closing back down now yeah. Itwas kind of like a a jump reaction like Oh. We need to open back up and thenit's like. No No. We said I tak clothe. I get that ththat that the insecurity of like you, know, worrying about making money and,and he the co the economic side of it. I get that Um, but I'm also a firm believer thatshouldn't be their fight, Tho fight. You know. If we can bail out banks andmultibillion dollar airlines. I see no reason why the four one six diner bestdiner in Deni, I don't care what Dayton dotcom says: Um shouldn't get a BA asmall Beil out of their own 'cause yeah. What are they going to do right? Welland my boyfriend owns kitty brew in Mason and no shoot he yeah. I don'tknow that allright cool yeahand he's been likerelentlessly like trying to get help for the business and Lekeis Tust, thenfighting for them so hard because kitty brew is amazing, like it's a great like adoption like they doall these adoptions, like more than anybody else, has ever done. It's crazy. They just do such a nice trob in the area, and I love it and I love theconcept behind it and I just don't want to see anything happen to like placeslike that. H T it's not right like and if we can bail out you know theairlines or ruse ship or like. Why can't we bel out small businesses? Ijust I don't know. I don't understand that, but he has get like he and the other owner have kept kinny brew aflow andit's been great like they just reopened, and I think some of the employees arenervous about, like I think everyone startis like anyone. That's taking thisseriously is nervous, and you know it's it's a it's a stressor for a lot of people.You- and I were talking yesterday my my little brother. He goes to ce he's, afreshman at cat cat and h. You know its first year, I feel so bad. His FirstYear of college MHE got through one semester a Kinda and yeah, and thenthis happened. You know ret start the spring. Se Remember they were. Theywere sending kids home just for like spring break and they were they werehalfway to Dayton and they got the email saying: nope, campus's clothesincome empty your dorms out it was. It was TNAT, quick of a turnaround and nowthey're gearing up for for falle semester and they're, basically justleaving in all the responsibility on the students like they're like yetdining hall. You stll have to come eating the dining hall Um. You knowwe're. You know we're encouraging you to stay six feet apart. Where you knowall the public spaces are still going to be open. U They're trying to do I'veseen S. I've seen like big schools like Princdon and Harvard are going onlineonly, but then there's a whole thing withthat. Where they're kicking out the exchange students wow 'cause, theycan't they're, not letting them stay. If they're international and IT'S Tsit's a mess, it's it's everyone's everyone's looking out F. Imentioned this yesterday we're putting a price on human life. Now absolutely-and it's it's not okay, like I just I don't understand and especially like ifwe could keep things Okin like everyone wants to. Obviously why not what's Theharmon wearing a mask, even if it, even if it's not as miraculous as they claimit to be? How is that like hurting anybody? I just don't understand that, like it's a piece of fabric Rit like what do you have to lose like you maysafe, a wife you may not, but like I'd rather take a chance on saving a lifethan like the other wayw we're asking you to put you know: m I've seen peoplethey go by like the Boh, the Balaclathas and pull 'em up over theirhead an almost in Bocklabot. That's something totally different. You know I've. My my aunt Ma made usall a little masks out of tshirts m. You know it', it's it's! You know whateveryone always says. I wish it was...

We don'thave like the sheer mass of people to do this and we don't have like you know, but they're getting better, so I'm going to give it to the crogers andFairfield like they're, getting a little bit better. Amazon has myasmy address memorizes. Atthis point, though, I mean I kind of feel bad 'cause, allthat poor guys here every day but I'mmost like Lookman you're working andI need socks so tax Toyou, that's funny, I'm I'm notI'm not going O, I'm not goning to Walmart and target a having havingworked at Walmart. I don't trust him to do a good job deaing with us. Also, I'm just lazy and ' It's ninetyone degrees outside. I don't want to go out, so I been, I ordered a tooh crushand razor. I'm like I'Mji shopping on Amazone for all my toilet. I'm like. I have no shame in my gamelike bring me my raizors. Have you ever gotten one of those those little AmazonButton things you can get for, like your laundry detergent t s, somethingthat you order all the time and T it's literally, it's like a button, littleelectronic button and you just press the button and it tells your AmazonAccount Order More laundy detergent and it just mgosh. Well I got a friend somefriends back in South Carolina that have like all their regular stuff. Theyjust ordered on he Amazon 'cause. They live like out in the country and they Jwhen they're out of it. They had the button and it orders it on their Amazonaccount an likethat's. That's too clear, Ya seriously. It's yeah when I think about Y we're the same age. I think aboutgrowing up- and you know in the nineties- and you know, like the firsttime we had Internet in my house, dial up AOL Internet Wer, the first time Iever saw someone with a cell phone, I remember being in college and myprofessoras talking about you, know, yeah. You know H, apples, designing special IFE IPAD,that's going to be all touchscreen and it's got a phone built in and I'm like, okay, whatever sure and then and then like now. Now I got. I got mine sittingright next to me and it's it's...

Oik Baer pictures than like anexpensive camera which is razy a little kte amazing. I'm like I'm takingpictures of flowers and nature and, like it looks beautiful, I don'tunderstand how they do it, but it's it's! It's and my I have twofriends who arephotographers and they hate it. B'cause it's like they spent O.I mean they have a business and thousands of dollars of cameraequipment. I'm Sittin here, Kond like Aight, it's so funny 'cause. My friendtoday was like. Can anyone give me camera recommendations and I started totype out I found eleven per baprobably? Isn't whut she's looking for butseriously girll get one hwas. The main reason I uprated the eleven. I was like:Oh e camera sothat's. What I got th eleven promacs. I had to have the bigone 'cause, I'm like! Oh really yeah, I just I I've had an iphone eight for solong. I had over years and years and never upgraded, and I was like you knowwhat we're going big this time. I went all the way in I I did the same thing 'cause I had Icause for the O e. When I first got my first smart phone, I was working atWalmart. I had like the cheapest Sam Song. You could get. You know, ask likethirty bucks on boost mobile and I we remember going through like like sixanroids in like Hespani three years 'cause they just kept dying and notworking, and so when I moved up here and I had a good job, I splurzed on asix on a sixs plus, and that was my I I was I I babied that thing until theday I, finally we my mom, we always switched over to sprint. So I got the tplus, and I was again I got my big phone and but honestly after after ayear of carrying a brick in my pocket everywhere, I went m when the elevencame out. I was like I just Goush get the regular one placehyeah I like theBriak and I don't a Hockin. So, okay yeah, that's true yeah. I I had toconstantly pull it out of my pocket 'cause. I couldn't sit down if it wasin my pocket. So you know W at my first smart phone, wise you're, going to laugh. Did you have a side KCK? No, I wish that wouldhave been so parasol that would amavenue, but I had a Paln Centro, Ohman, with the little stylist I ever heardone of those, Oh, my God, I loved it so much. I thought I was cool like thecoolest person at Miami, so I was like Lokit me in my little Centro with mylittle stick, my my my parents were Um a little alittle uptight when I was growing up th y. They they meilowed out considerably.By the time my my younger Sibl bings were in high school, which made me justa little pissed off, but j Li e I fit. I couldn't get gone away with half thisshit when I was their age but um yeah. I mean my brothers and I you know wedidn't- have a cellphone at all Um. You know we got when we went away tocollege, but it was one of those it was like. You know: No texting, no data, two hundred minutes to be sharedamongst everybody, one of those things I I wanted a little palm styles thingand my dad was like Wat. One of those don't know 'cause it's cool, so I have some work today. I alwayshave homework, but I get to get my stick out. You got a pan of paper, don't you, meanwhile, my dad was like the VP it guy and I'm like you, you bess with all this shit all dayevery day, Itsnot Wa, like you dad, that's, not the actual answer, but ifit works so yea, I never had a sidekick m, neverhad a blackberry Li. For like a week, I hated ITT. It'swhat I hear from a lot of people is they they hated 'em. I never had a like.I could not go from what I had to a blackberry. I was like take this back.I D T. I don't care what I got to pay to put it back on the shelf. I don'twant the Su wow EA, I hated it, so I...

...tried it and it just was. It wasglitchy and like there was this little rollerball in the middle, and I waslike I love to look at it and I liked the keyboard 'cause, I'm not going tolie. I love to keyboard like like a little keyboard and it was great, butyou get used to the touchscreen eventually and then you know it's not a big deal. Trou DRazor, Oh my God, I had a razor and I think Isent that back after. Like three weeks. I never had one of those oedropping itlike that's my issue with fo as I drop the and that's why I shouldn't have anieshone eleven, but seei've never had that problem. I'venever had a problem ever with, like dropping phones, cracking screens likewhen I swapped out my eight plus for the eleven she was like wow. This is in,like amazing condition. I was like I don't know, what's wrong witheverybody else: In the world, N 've never been. Maybe it's 'cause a baby.My Shit, I don't know, but no I'm just super clumsy, like Weri just got a newbike like I've been trying to ride bikes, somebe suberactive, and Irealize today that I can't turn the bike. Yet I can go straight for a longperiod of time, but when it comes time to turn, I kinda got to get off of itand then so sad pluy. So- and I just I know that aboutmyself. So whenever the stores are like. Oh do you want e insurance on this? I'mtypically like. Let's see, let me weigh the pros andcons here from I'm Goin to drop it. So insurance is weird 'cause. If you don'tget it that that suckers going to break within a month but assum, but if youcan get that inisurance. That thing will be indestructible, an not for me, but you're, the one who needs the insurancs and I didn't get my screen protector intime from Amazon, Weni, Alena oil. I dropped it before the screen. Protectorcame, and I was, and it scratched- and I was like this- is ust like it ruins my life, butthat's okay. It's like first world problems. I Um! Well, when I got my atemy a plus, I left. You know how you get that plastic film when you get the newphone. I left that on there until I had the screen e actual screen protectorand it made it so hard to use the phone Buti was like no I'm putting ssomething's going to be on this screen until I have until I have a piece ofglass Ittin over it, I actually wogt whenevr. When I wentcamping last year. I bought this like special superindustrial strength, protector case for my phone, one that you had to like. You had screws a d youhad to unscrew it pull it. Apart had like six layers of protection, it madeWa my phone weighed like six pounds. It weaponized my phone. I've got like a little girlie, Katespane one on, and it's like it says it's military grade, but Wel SA. I justI just I splurd on the Ottor box at the at the sprintstore and I'm not sayingthat because they're paying me too, I'm just a fan, but if they like to otter box and a big Fan uh, even thoughyouarks expensive, so but man it's what what what a less than a year. It's been.I know it's. I just can't, even and when we talkedthe last time we were at my house and it was really cool and it's just likenow like it just feels so good to even get to talk to you so noit's. I Miss Everybody. I just at's my mom, that's I mean I will say like like this show has been a bit of a saving grace'cause. It's like cool. At least I can force someone to talk to me for half anhour o a week who's, not my 'cause, my mother wouldn't come on the show. Ijust I want to make this clear. I invited my mom to come on. She she'sshe's, a private person. It wasn't like she was like, Oh God, no I mean she didsay, Oh God, no, but it was. It was...

...more of a liken, she's, J, she's, veryshy and very private Um y a but my parents wouldn't come to Jum cityeither like when we were homeo they're, very they're, very, like Shyaan Kindathey're, not shy like when you meet them, but they're not like. They wouldjust be embarrassed. I guess like if they just showed up like onset they'dbee like out of place that probably but but yeah. I just I miss everything IMiss Dawn. I get the Seedon Smith tomorrow, wilow I'm sxcited yeahteaching him his first onmin lesson wow. What did I still going with it? Yeah? Iknow- and I was like I haven't seen him in so long because you know with allthis stuff and I he said hey how about this onryn lessons and I was like so I get to teach dawn tomorrow andhe's like I haven't practice. I said. Oh, don't worry, we'll start somewhere,Lin il figure it out. Sto you're, not alongone. My students have been doing so. Well, like I'm, I'm thrilled like th, I think it's because they have more time topractice rove yeah, so so your onlie the online. I people a want to sign upfor online lessons how con? How can they do that? So I have a website piano,Aj com, and you can google me you can look me up on face book, but there isan online form that you just fell out to like register bronline lessons. Itjust goes straight to me and then I will call you when we will set up atime and it's pretty cool and I made like my studio policy super simple solike it's just cut and dry. So there's none of this, like Oh yo, know if youmess a lesson here La Lahlah, so it's super easy like and I think it's reallyuser friendly too. The way we set it up, O ijust doing those through doing it.throughzoom Zn, Orgogle meat. It just depends on someo. My kids, like Sgoogleme a little bit better sus 'cause, my aut. What the schools have been using.I think I think so, and Google meat is nice because there's no like time limitlike if zoo makes you pay for the like the longer extended time- and I doteach hour long lesson sometimes so it's Kindaf like we'll just do whaellmeat but yeah, it's been great like I, theyjust point the camera at their piano and I can see them and you know I playby ear. So, like I hear a wrong note, I can like point it out and figure it outwithout seeing them like the best so, but the way that I've got it set it setup. Is it's pretty cool like? I can't believe that, like you can take pianolessons online. I'm like this is so neat, so it's so cool. THAT'S THE TR!It's so great that you can you' 'cause when you're when you're, when you knowsomething that it it's great, that you are you're confident enough, and you knowyour own skill set to where you know 'cause, I I you know, there's a lot ofpeople out there hot probably be like I'm, not sure how I could teach. Youknow a piano without being able to be there and see it a d and sort of havethat confidence in your own skills, Um, where you're like yea H, you know T. Ithink that I think that'spr that'll probably instill a lot of confidence inin the students themselves, and I I think a lot of my kids were worriedlike when we started this so that they didn't think they would improve. I haveto tell you they're improving better than when they were when they were onperson. Don't ask me why and like I said, I think it's because they've gotmore time to practice, but, like my kids are flying through their bookslike I just one of my students was thirteen and she is just his mom tax ofme and she said his grandma was listening like through the door, and weare just so excited, 'cause, he's playing so well and like that. Just youknow that makes my heart so happy good, probably because they're also likethey're at home and they're in their their comfort zone, and they can justoh yeah, like how awesome is that that you don't have to like go to somebodyelse's house and, like I don't know, my...

...parents were my chauffeur for eachyouknow for a million years so, like I can tell you it's definitely more parentfriendly, so but I'm hoping to get some more adults as well. Just because, likeit's very fun to teach adults, and I never knew that until I startedteaching dawn and a couple f other people I was like. Oh my gosh. This isfun because they can like they can read so can't read. So that's like a strugglewith some of the things but whose you're trying to explain the alphathatand the musical Alphabhet, and it's like, Oh God, Bu adults are really fun like I enjoyteaching them. So it's great, I do miss the crown like. Oh, I know. They'reclosed clothes, clothes ore just just be cot, Barelos, so yeah. I called Oyesterday because I have a piano bench up there and I'm like how can I comeget my pianobunch and nobody would answer so and that figured out thatthey aren't open right now so Wella, it's yours, wwould Yehell, get it theythey, don't have a problem with medoing that, but I'm just like I'm so bummed that they're not even open linkserving food like yeah with them being with them. You know being part of ahotel though, and there's so many people just in and out of there, I'msure, probably just not even not baton, H 'cause, I like I just saw just now onFace Bot today, you know toxic is going to be closed for a couple of weeks orno, they they've been closed for yethe. No sorry, four one six isopening back up this Thursday toxic is going to have to close down for twoweeks 'cause. I guess somebody tested positive, so they have to get everybodyelse. Testing Hart tested positive, too heart, Mercantile, oh, no, really gosh,I'm neting t closes right now so yeah yea whereare. You masks people. I knowk nowte there are people like making like cool designer masks now. So it's notjust this crappy little white thing that doesn't fit your face. Likethey're they're, making masks sexy, come on, I'm going to order that glitter onethere's like a rang coon that I just really want so y. it's like a catcilter. I got yeah OIO. I got one.
